Lead - Presales - Retail/FMCG/F&B/CPG
We currently have an opening for a Lead - Pre-Sales. This is a full-time position based out of our offices in Bangalore, India.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage a team of consultants and analysts to deliver high quality proposals, response to RFPs and sales collateral
- Own the proposal development process starting with identifying the right solution, documenting the solution approach, bringing in relevant case studies and delivering the final proposal including timelines and cost estimates
- Lead development of collateral, cases, pitch materials required for client meetings and prospect reachouts
- Ensure that proposals and pitches are continuously improved and are multiple notches above competition. Come up with new ideas to communicate the portfolio of solutions to clients in a simple, easy, efficient manner
- Collaborate with Sales team based in US, Europe and Singapore to ensure the entire business development function is delivering on agreed upon goals and targets
- Partner with other team members from Finance, Delivery, Legal, etc. in client pitches to bring the right materials for the proposal together
- Participate in sales conversations with clients
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALITIES -
- 8+ years of CPG analytics and consulting experience with about 5+ years in Pre-sales in the areas of business consulting or analytics services is essential
- Excellent business, marketing and data analytics understanding
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; highly capable of articulating ideas in a presentation and delivering over a conference call or in person
- Ability to engage with senior marketing and analytics professionals, gain their trust and build strong relationships
- Superb problem-solving skills and the ability to think of creative solutions; both in business development problems as well as client analytics projects.
- Ability to multi-task, work with several colleagues, leads and clients at the same time and across different time zones
- Experience of supporting responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) in the marketing, analytics or consulting functions
- Expert with PowerPoint
