Lead - Operations


- The incumbent would be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the ERP team including all types of Production issues.


- He/She would be responsible for PeopleSoft modules of HR, Finance and Student Systems, and should have experience in upgrading modules and softwares as per requirement. This would be a Contractual role. At the end of every 3 years, the contract may be renewed based on Performance.

Responsibilities :

- Acts as the first level of escalation on all production issues related to all ERP systems.

- Coordinates with the Program head to manage the overall compliance aspect of the ERP system - regulatory compliance, hardware & software compliance

- Interfacing with vendors on all matters including but not limited to procurement & renewal of software licenses, bulk emails, ISPs, external service providers (consultants) etc., in coordination with the procurement team.

- Keeps current with market trends & updates in the product & process ecosystem - provides inputs to take up improvements based on the same.

- Assists the Program Head - ERP in all matters listed above & anything else related to the ERP team administration including travel requests, travel reimbursements of team, payments to vendors, budgeting and any other task as required.

- Work with peers, business units, project teams and vendors to ensure business needs are fully communicated, documented and satisfied

Skills & Qualifications :

- 13-18 years of work experience, with at least 10+ years of experience in PeopleSoft

- B.E., B. Tech, MCA in any specialisation

- Demonstrated systems implementation experience in managing multi-module, multi-location projects

- Team management experience

- Deliverable Focus

- Ability to create project & test plans

- Knows the art of negotiation, persuasion and deal management

- Possesses a broad understanding of key business processes

- Knowledge of project lifecycle

- Change management experience

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Proven project management experience

- Aware of testing approaches, practices, techniques and methodologies to help design the overall testing solution for implementations, upgrades, cloud migration etc.

- Aware of common business processes across the ERP products, accelerators, testing tools
