Lead - Merger & Acquisition - Pharmaceuticals (5-10 yrs)
M&A Lead - Pharmaceuticals
Job Purpose:
Evaluate and execute inorganic opportunities across geographies by managing internal and external teams to ensure effective and timely closure of mergers and acquisitions deals and thereby help achieve growth in key markets
Accountabilities:
I. Develop inorganic strategies, opportunities and investment leads across geographies in order to build scale in existing markets and create market entry strategies in new territories
II. Propose shortlisted investment opportunities to the Cipla management team, management council and board of directors in order to obtain investment approval
III. Conduct cross functional due diligence on identified opportunities in order to ensure the assets under evaluation are compliant and generate sufficient value for the company
IV. Negotiate and structure transaction documents working closely with the internal and external legal teams in order to efficiently execute a deal
V. Project manage cross functional teams in order to successfully integrate the acquired assets within the company and create synergies that add value to the organization
Education Qualification: MBA (Finance) / CA
Relevant Work Experience:
- 5-6 years of relevant experience (mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity and strategy)
