The ideal candidate should be an MBA in Marketing and have a minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in a digital-first food, retail or consumer products company driving marketing, branding, new product development and execution initiatives / programs. Location: This role will be based in Mumbai and will lead the marketing function across geographies (India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar & Singapore). Experience: - Role requires demonstrated experience driving marketing of a digital-first or direct-to-consumer brand in the food or consumer goods category. Candidate Profile: - Must have a thorough understanding of the healthy food industry & preferably have a personal passion for healthy eating. - Be a Passionate, consumer centric marketer with sound understanding and robust experience in both offline and online marketing. - Must demonstrate strategic thinking and a marketing mindset - Must be willing to work in a dynamic environment with start-up esque speed. - Should be able to effectively multi-task and manage a broad and varied range of marketing activities, defining and adhering to timelines and delivering excellent execution - The candidate must be opened to roll up his / her sleeves and get into execution with the team along with being a strategic partner in the overall omni-channel experience of the consumer. - Be a self-starter and have a great capacity to work autonomously - Have strong strategic, interpersonal, creative, negotiating, task prioritization, decision making and analytical skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Good people management experience and ability to work in a dynamic environment. - Develop good relationship with internal and external stakeholders - Would be preferred if the candidate has worked on premium / international brands in the past. - She / He should be a passionate ambassador of the brand Job Responsibilities: - Lead the entire marketing function for the brand. - Devise strategies and execution of all Marketing initiatives. - Lead and manage the marketing team. Setting the direction and agenda of the marketing function. Define marketing objectives and goals of the team and monitoring the progress of the same so as to achieve overall company objectives. - Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department keeping financial and people resources in mind and accordingly devise execution plans. - Strategize and chart out the path to grow the brands equity, strengthen its image while growing its sales across all key channels. - Develop brand strategies for marketing communications through various media such as digital, social, PR, print, electronic media, in-Store campaigns. - Drive margin enhancement through pricing, mix, promotional ROI. - Innovate in New product development based on consumer research and analysis of changing tastes and trends. Impact the menu listing offerings and packaging in line with changing TG behaviours. Drive the NPD program across cross functional teams including R&D, production as well as operations. - Development and execution of the brand communications strategy and tactical programs. - Identify and work with key agencies (in Advertising, Media, PR, and Digital, SEO/SEM, etc) - to ensure that key projects are delivered as per timelines - Drive strategy, supervise creative content creation and execution for key social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, relevant in-country platforms, etc - Design branding, positioning and pricing strategies - Ensure brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material - Analyse consumer behaviour and determine customer personas - Be the voice of the consumer in the organisation. - Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share. Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness - Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features) - Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of overall company objectives - Lead strong cross functional working relationships with Sales, Consumer Insights, Category Management, Finance, R&D, and other functions within the business
