Lead - Marketing - Emerging Markets - FMCG (10-15 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop deep insights using customer journeys in order to better understand customer and product needs
- New product ideation - Drive screening, scoping and selection of new product ideas
- Develop/Review business cases for new products using both primary and secondary data sources
- Develop and implement product strategies consistent with the company vision
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the product, market and competition
- Develop product positioning, differentiators and go to market strategy
- Execute key activities with the country teams and drive key programs
- Develop brand architecture in line with the customer needs and brand values
Education and Experience :
- 10+ years of experience in product management / Brand marketing
- Experience in Direct to consumer (DTC) and digital marketing is a MUST
- Preferably from FMCG firms
- MBA from premium institutes
Stakeholders :
Internal : Country marketing teams, Portfolio team, Finance, Business Analytics, SCM, CoE teams
External : Customers, Consumers, Advertising agencies, media agencies, market research agencies
Key Personal Attributes :
- Ability to deliver in an individual contributor setting
- Self-starter with a go-getter attitude and ability to work under minimal supervision
- Must be a quick learner
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams
- Should possess good communication and multi project management skills
