Lead Market Analyst - Financial Services (2-6 yrs)

Job Brief :

We are looking for talented individuals who wish to solve exciting problems and have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. This is an - Individual Contributor(IC) role for someone having ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them offering acceptable solutions.

The ideal candidate is :

- One who is resourceful & detail oriented with an entrepreneurial and analytical bent of mind.

- Someone who can adapt in an agile start-up environment and doesn't shy away from getting their hands dirty to meet the end goal and thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

Job Description / Responsibilities :

1. Preparing client ready materials for pitch book and information memorandum for transactions across multiple sectors.

2. Developing industry research reports, detailed company profiles, industry evolution and peer valuation multiples.

3. Performing company screening and key developments screening at company and sector/industry level.

4. Working knowledge of SPAC space and reporting on key movements for data-analysis.

5. Understand, track and produce reporting on key investment trends in across various investment classes.

6. Synthesize feedback and analyze data using relevant metrics to prepare internal reports to design a high quality and clear roadmap.

Desired Candidate Profile (Education Qualifications, Work Experience and Skills) :

- Graduate (Engineering / Finance / Economics) OR MBA (Finance).

- Prior work-experience of 2-6 years in Financial modeling, DCF valuation, Relative Valuation, Financial Analysis, Risk Benchmarking, M&A with a with a top tier Market Research Agency. (will be preferred)

- High proficiency level in MS Office (Excel / Advanced Excel) and other applications/ tolls such as FactSet, CapitalIQ, SPACInsider, DebtWire and PitchBook. (will be preferred)

- Candidate with - Quantitative Market Research experience. (will be preferred)

- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

- Should be self-driven and resourceful with a high sense of ownership, urgency and capable of finishing assigned responsibility / tasks independently.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent presentation skills.

- Have ability to manage change and to work in an agile and start-up environment.

- Be curious to learn and continuously demonstrate subject expertise by updating technical knowledge.
