Lead/Manager - Partner Development - Telecom (10-12 yrs)
Key Objective / Purpose of the Job:
- Manages a Team of Partner Managers and owns the channel map for the region to meet the objective of the Business through channels.
Major Activities:
- Responsible for qualification, appointment and on boarding of the channel partners along with Partner Manager
- Responsible for Partner attrition and Performance.
- Drives the growth of the Channel Partners
- Responsible for driving the capability building plan with partners like training the channel partner and its team
- Responsible for driving the coverage programs including channel appointment and help drive demand gen, customer-focused programs, industry forum participation, etc.
- Responsible for Channel Policy Adherence & Process in the assigned territory.
- Responsible for partner health for an allocated set of partners through regular reviews, timely claim submissions etc.
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline
- MBA-Sales & Marketing preferred
Requisite Skills:
Technical :
- Telecom Exposure (Preferable)
Functional:
- Should be a high transaction person
- Should have the in-depth knowledge about the IT / telecom channel market in the region.
- Should have a clear and well-defined focus about the objective.
- Should be organized in his/her work
Behavioral:
- Good Communication (both written and oral) skills
- Interpersonal Skills
- Flexibility
- Relationship Management Skills
Work Experience:
- 4-6 years in Telecom/IS
- 2-3 Years as a Team Lead Role
- Preferably channel sales executives specializing in Sales
