Lead - Machine Learning - CPG Industry

- Work with internal clients to understand their business problems, map them against possible data sets, develop analysis, and provide insights back to the business based on those results

- Summarize insights and recommendations to be presented back to the business

- Use innovative methods to continuously improve the quality of the analytics

- Designing and developing scalable ETL packages from the business source systems and the development of ETL routines to populate databases from sources and to create aggregates

- Responsible for enabling and running data migrations across different databases and different servers

- Defines and implements data stores

- Plays an analytical role - debugs code, writes adhoc queries to identify the sources of issues and troubleshoot

- Analyze complex data elements and systems, data flow, dependencies, and relationships to contribute to conceptual physical and logical data models

- Be passionate about the beer industry and results oriented about your work

- Show curiosity, optimism and above all act as an owner

- Proficient in developing complex queries using MS SQL Server, My SQL, Analysis Services and similar platforms and tune them for performance

- Proficient version control software user (GIT preferable)

- Project management software user (Azure VSTS preferable)

- Experience in Machine learning techniques

- Relevant experience in Talend/ Informatica tools

- Must be an expert in SQL development further providing support to the Data and Analytics in database design, data flow and analysis activities

- Expert level proficiency in Python, R and PySpark

- Exposure to data modeling (logical, physical, dimensional and relational) and query performance tuning on SQL Server, MySQL, Redshift, Postgres or similar platforms

- Should know OLTP and OLAP concepts

- Data warehousing expertise/tools: Data marts/Materialized Views/ Star/ Snowflake schema

- Good idea of database administration

- Prior domain experience in CPG and beverage industry preferred
