We are hiring Lead - Legal for our client based at Bangalore. Requirements : - Support and managing the legal requirements for the People team. Drafting letters employment agreements templates policies etc. Advising on all people matters and day-to-day compliances from labour law perspective. - Responsible for drafting vetting negotiating review and closing various types of agreements such as master service agreements vendor agreements NDAs Service Level Agreements etc. with minimum supervision. - Support the management of day-to-day legal and contractual queries raised by different teams (ex.: People Team, Facilities Team, Procurement Team, Information Security Team etc.). - Research study and analyze existing & new legislation/amendments & notifications that impact the business; bring to the notice of the appropriate functions about their implications and applicability; support them in formulating a suitable plan of action. - Liaise with external legal advisors for business critical legal issues wherever needed. - Support the company's and its employees' compliance with rules and regulations of regulatory agencies. To monitor and manage company- wide compliance through compliance tool. - Support in providing timely legal advice and assistance to business units as necessary. Operations Relevant for the role : - Strong legal and analytical skills with attention to detail. - Sound knowledge and understanding of Indian corporate and contractual laws. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective relationships at all organizational levels across all department. Experience : - Law Graduate with strong academic background with 5-7 years of working experience in a premier law firm or the legal department in a similar industry. - Candidates with corporate secretarial background / qualification will be preferred. - Background in drafting, negotiating, reviewing and finalizing commercial contracts. - Advising on corporate matters in Company law.
