Our Client:

Our Client is a front runner of the digital payments revolution in India, creating Internet-based payments products that enable consumers to make payments online in a frictionless manner. A product and service of over 10 years of market leadership, our client provides a single versatile, scalable payments platform for enterprise-wide electronic payments and collections, related reconciliation and settlement operations, across multiple delivery channels and using a wide range of payment methods.

Responsibilities:

- Drafting, review, negotiation and standardization of various new, bespoke and existing templates for meeting ongoing business and product requirements.

- End to end Contract management with adequate support from an external vendor.

- Work with product team for implementing apt contract and documentation for our clients and vendors.

- Knowledge series around important legal topics and changes to relevant employees on periodic basis.

Skills:

- Drafting, review and advisory experience in documentation work related to Digital Banking and/or online payment services.

- Well versed with IT and data privacy laws, Intellectual Property laws, RBI regulations, NPCI and BBPS guidelines.

- Good analytical, research and multi-tasking abilities to provide time-sensitive support on legal and regulatory issues in connection with business operations of the Company

Qualification:

Law graduate from a reputed law school

Experience:

- 4 to 6 years of post-qualification experience in a Bank or online payment service provider registered with RBI.

- Good background of FinTech, General corporate and Contract Management related legal work in Digital Banking (preferably BBPS) and financial services space.

- Experience in developing and implementing processes for efficient and streamlining operations for Contract Management.
