Lead Knowledge Analyst - Corporate Finance & Strategy - Management Consulting Firm (7-10 yrs)

Our client is a leading Global Management Consulting Firm.

You will be working with business and topic leaders, consultants and Corporate Finance & Strategy knowledge colleagues in all global hubs partnering to deliver on topic relevant client conversations, cases or proposals or knowledge and/or proprietary data and tools creation, in specific you will -

- Regularly partner with senior business leaders, expert consultants and Corporate Finance and Strategy (CFS) Knowledge colleagues in all global hubs to develop and own end-to-end proprietary data, tools & analytics core to CFS commercial offerings (e.g., codifying proprietary methodology into tools, etc.) - including deploying it directly with project teams

- Play an important part in contributing to internal knowledge building in form of in-house projects and assist topic leaders in preparing reports covering topic like Value Creation and M&A, CFO Excellence etc.

- Contribute to and evolve best-in-class research, and our arsenal of tools, techniques and partners to help deliver at that standard

- Mentor and coach junior team members in developing and delivering our offerings to project teams around the world


Core corporate finance understanding and its business application along with bringing a business sense and curiosity to work place, in specific outlined below:

- Corporate finance principles and driving relevant insights

- Working with multiple clients in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing requests and managing stakeholders

- Master's degree with high academic achievements in corporate finance, accounting, or mathematics; thorough knowledge of accounting principles and modern corporate finance theory

- 7+ years of relevant work experience in a finance capacity either for a consulting firm or Private Equity or corporate M&A department, in a deal advisory position/ in a corporate finance boutique/ investment bank, or equivalent demonstrated experience; or 4+ years of consulting


Case (and proposal) teams in a leading role by providing functional expertise -

- Support the CFS Value Acceleration topic team in client and business development work

- Partner with case teams to identify & address critical knowledge needs

- Provide customized knowledge for client work, prepares accurate, well developed documents and charts

- Advise case teams on best possible analysis and leading specific modules

- Deliver original analysis and insights to case teams, provides thought partnership

- Assist in developing/updating pitch materials as well as industry landscaping decks

- Help with financial data and analyses and act as internal contact for requestors seeking specific data/ information

- Liaison with internal teams when required to ensure that appropriate research is delivered

- Together with consultants, collect, synthesize, analyse case team learnings & inputs into new knowledge products (vignettes, experience)

Topic/sector teams in a leading role by collaborating and maintaining the development of proprietary knowledge and tools:

- Play an important part in contributing to the organization's IP development in form of in-house projects and assist topic leaders in writing articles, conference presentations, and preparing reports

- Contribute to content development around topic/sector for PA meetings & trainings

- Build, maintain and own proprietary suite of tools and databases

- Actively disseminate CFS tool suite to case teams and clients

- Build & update new topic/sector-related customized knowledge products

- Review knowledge products & ensure they are current, relevant and updated when appropriated

- Assure proper sign-off before uploading materials into knowledge management platform & contribute to sanitization

- Collaborate on practice area intellectual capital development efforts

Junior team members:

- Manage junior team members on projects with case teams, ensure execution and be responsible for overall quality

- Lead the communication with the team and manage workflow to ensure case team satisfaction

- Coach junior analysts to ensure their effective contribution to the topic

- Design the on-boarding schedule and provide day-to-day apprenticeship and coaching for junior staff
