Position: Lead Interior Architect - Airports
Job description:

- L&T Construction is a brand of Larsen & Toubro with projects in multiple segments. The airport segment has secured number of prestigious airport projects and would look forward to recruit dynamic Lead Interior Architects.
- The Lead Interior Architect for the project shall perform the following duties and responsibilities:
- To lead the interior design team for the project at schematic design, detailed design and construction design stages for the project and post-construction preparation of the as-built drawings and documents in BIM.
- Manage the team of Interior Architects for the project and ensure that the team is aware of the IATA/ICAO, NBC2016, IS Codes, Local development control rules and relevant standards.
- To review the employer requirements, specifications and conceptual drawings andensure that they comply with the relevant codes and standards.
- Ensure that all stages of design and detailing are carried out in a coordinated manner along with all the disciplines and consultantsthrough discussions and integration.
- Control of quantifications in the project through techno-economic indices and discussions with site teams for reconciliation of designed& executed quantifications.
- Responsible for training the project team and any appointed interior consultant on the Interior design requirements and CAD standards and processes/technologies adopted for the project and ensuring the ISO standards are being adhered.
- Ensure that the relevant levels of details(LOD) are captured in different stages of design submission (LOD200, LOD 350, LOD 450). The as-built model (LOD 500)shall also include COBiEintegration.
- Interact with construction site teams for effective resolution of any site related issue. Detailing and discussions with vendors for optimisation and alternative solutions.
- Interact with Business Unit for optimisation, value engineering and alternative proposals to Client to ensure project profitability.
- Conduct coordination review of key systems with all stake holders and specialty trade contractors during construction. Obtain models from other trades/ sub-contractors to integrate in to master model.
- Coordination of BIM activities for the project with Client representatives and be representative of the company all BIM incorporations, innovations and processes.
Required skills:
- Experience of working on airport project interior.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software from AutoDesk.
- Working knowledge of BIM platform to achieve LOD 200, 350, 450 and 500 for the models and COBiE integration.
- Experience of working on LEED green building projects.
