Scope of the role: India IT Lead role is to provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives that align with the Vision of the Manufacturing Sites. IT lead will have the charter to build a competitive edge by proactively building world-class, high quality, innovative
technology - IT, Digital & Analytics solutions.

REPORTING STRUCTURE:

Team: Direct Reports - India Site IT Leaders
QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor's in technology / Master degree in Computers
EXPERIENCE:
At least 15 years- experience in the industry out of which at least 3-7 years- experience of leading significant IT services & delivery in a medium or large global pharma organizations
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience of delivering IT strategy & services is essential, across multiple Manufacturing Sites is desirable
- Experience of working in Pharma business is essential
- Experience of working with a Site Leadership / Site teams to develop Manufacturing Site focused IT and strategies that will effectively support their business needs
- Experience of technologies such as SAP is Must, BI, Pharma Quality and MES applications is preferred
- Experience of digital technologies such as AR/VR, RPA, Chatbots, AI ML etc. is preferred
- Evidence of delivering high quality, customer focused services
- Experience of contributing to the development and implementation of effective management information systems that aid the decision-making process at manufacturing Sites
- Evidence of contribution to building teams at a time of change
JOB OVERVIEW:
Strategy & Innovation:
- Proactively recommend IT Solutions to Site leadership team considering Site vision / priorities and industry trends by bringing outside-in perspective
- Push the bar in technology innovation to create user-friendly technologies offering great experience
- As a Strategic Business Partner for Sites, to identify opportunities for differentiated technology capabilities and solutions
- Acts as a champion and change agent in accelerating the changes required to create and sustain technology capabilities
- Acts as a thought leader on emerging digital business models and technologies
Enable Business Growth:
- Driving IT Integration post acquisition of manufacturing Site.
- Lead IT strategic, operational planning and implementation to achieve Site goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems.
- Coordinate and facilitate consultation with relevant Site and IT stakeholders to define Site and systems requirements for new technology implementations
Planning and Execution:
- Partner with various site and HO teams to manage the project portfolio as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and implementation of major information systems
- Own the Technology budget of the Manufacturing Sites, provide upfront estimates of costs under various heads and keep track of spends to ensure the best ROI for the company on its Technology investment - all the while maintaining a balance between frugality / financial discipline and adequately gearing up for the future growth
- Build a future read technology team at Sites by attracting, retaining and upskilling industry best talent
Compliance & Information Security:
- Collaborate with Quality e-Compliance (QeC) team and ensure Quality Compliance as per defined SOPs and guidelines in accordance with 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP guidelines
- Collaborate with Information Security team and ensure adherence to Information Security guidelines and processes
Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional inter-personal skills enabling engagement with all levels across the Sites, Leadership skills, including the ability to manage & develop team
- Sound understanding of portfolio, program and project management and a track record of delivering and enabling large-scale complex change programs
