Lead - Indirect Taxation - CA

ROLE OBJECTIVE:

- Overall accountable for Indirect Taxation

- Lead and coordinate GST-driven business initiative

- Single point of contact for Management for all updates, queries on Indirect Taxation Take care of cross charge, initiating strategic issues on GST, establishing controls on revenue leakage

SPECIFIC DELIVERABLES :

- Monitoring strict compliance of GST and timely deposit and filing of returns at the portal.

- Managing all GST issues on a day-to-day basis involving maintenance of required statutory records

- Supervising and advising the team in tax related and compliance related issues

- Attending and managing departmental proceedings and departmental audits

- Holding routine meetings with Indian Tax & Govt. Authorities and managed related submissions

- Supporting the global tax team on various non-Indian tax compliance work and ad-hoc tax projects, as required

- Handling notices issued by GST department

- To implement tax related changes in system and establish controls on revenue leakage

- To maintain MIS showing status of statutory compliances, assessment, legal notices

- Regularly update team and concerned departments on recent important updates

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

- Proven track record in reputed manufacturing and Branch structured organization.

- Proven experience of working and managing teams

- Disciplined & target oriented who can own the process and guide the practical ways to accelerate the execution in legitimate manner. Good knowledge in Oracle, Microsoft- Excel, PowerPoint & Word would be an added advantage
