Compliance Lead - India Overall Purpose of the Role : To lead HR compliances and licences across the country and liaison with govt depts and connect with client compliance folks Responsibilities : - End to end responsibility for company's compliance in all locations within India as per regulations - Periodical review of the applicability of various Labour and Employment Laws/rules and frame policy/ guidelines to comply - Responsible for compliance under POSH Act; (Policy drafting, employee sensitization training, ICC, Report, etc.) - Manage timely remittance of ESI, PF, LWF or any other statutory dues. Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders in the timely management of these compliances. - Responsible for the submission of correct compliance documents of clients as per checklist and ensuring timely closure of NC's in both offline and online modes. - Timely submission of various returns under various labour laws. - 100% adherence of HR compliances and Statutory requirement, Ensuring statutory compliance of each site as per various applicable labour law. - Handling statutory compliance Audits Internal/External as per defined checklist. Able to handle government authorities and external statutory bodies, handling Employee/labour cases at court and labour department. - Attending Key clients audit review calls of compliances. - Utilizing knowledge of HR policies and all statutory laws and regulations, like S&E Act, CLRA Act, PF & MP Act, ESI Act, Payment of Gratuity Act, Maternity benefit Act, S&E Act, Equal Remuneration Act, National and Festival Holiday Act, Bonus Act, Employee Exchange Act, etc. Ensuring timely remittance of PF/ESI and timely returns under various statutory law. - Guiding and monitoring all the branch compliance activities, understanding business objectives, and working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships to increase productivity and retention, ensuring alignment of process & function. - Resolve complex Employee issues & grievances by close interaction with employees. Taking disciplinary action, and issuing warning letters, show cause notice as required. - Maintaining dashboard and trackers for Licenses, Audits, labour cases and grievances. - Support in handling all Statutory related queries Requirements : HR professional with 8+ years of experience & strong exposure to Statutory compliances and Labour Laws
