Lead HR Business Partner - Mexico Designation : Lead HR Business Partner - Mexico Location : Hyderabad (initially), later Mexico The candidate for this role should have managed HR Business Partnering for either Mexico / other geographies (Latin American countries will be preferred) Key Responsibilities : 1. Organization Design : Develop / deploy effective organizational processes, aligned structures and sharply defined roles & responsibilities with clear accountabilities, using tools such as OD levers, manpower productivity norms, work force planning, Role Clarification, etc. Prepare annual manpower plan / budget and realize plan objectives. 2. Employee Life-cycle Management : Ensure effective administration of various employee life cycle management processes e.g. SAP HR actions, personnel files maintenance, payroll administration, time office management, etc., in compliance with statutory guidelines and organizational policies & procedures. 3. Performance Enablement : Execute performance enabling processes i.e. KRA deployment & managing performance, performance appraisal & feedback, Grievance Redressal, etc., in collaboration with site head and leadership team. 4. Capability Building : To identify and develop business critical technical, managerial & behavioural capabilities at the site, in line with the strategic business plans. Determine training needs basis performance / talent feedback sessions; collaborate with line managers, L&amp;D team and external experts to develop &amp; deploy developmental programs in order to achieve developmental goals; facilitate workmen related training; collaborate with Site Head to develop capability of the second line leadership through talent profiling and structured IDP execution programs. 5. Employee Engagement : Set up &amp; execute processes for Induction programs for new joiners; Implement SMT pillars in coordination with site leadership and SMT OD teams; design and execute Rewards &amp; Recognition programs in collaboration with central SPoCs; facilitate employee engagement survey; organize skip level, FGDs and Town Hall meetings; design &amp; execute engagement calendar; to improve employee retention and discretionary efforts. 6. Industrial Relations, Welfare, Audit &amp; Compliance Management : Build and maintain cordial Industrial Relations at the site. Address disciplinary issues and support investigation for COBE violations. Ensure compliance to applicable statutory, regulatory &amp; social provisions with the help of Legal and other teams of experts internally / externally and maintain audit readiness on real time basis. Ensure closure of audit observations. 7. Corporate Social Responsibility : Conduct regular interactions with villages around the Plant with CSR Manager, Corporate affairs, NGOs / DRF and proactively develop &amp; deploy solutions for potential issues. Provide inputs for building capability in nearby villages/areas to enable regular business activities at the site. 8. Budget Responsibility : Actively manage the budget for manpower and work closely with the plant team in controlling and achieving the goal for the year. Closely work with the CTO BU Head towards controlling of the budget in the area of manpower while ensuring the operation flow in the plant is smooth. Operating Network : - Internal CTO BU Head, Site Head, Site Quality Head, Site Leadership Teams, CTO Quality Head, GMO HR Head, BU HR, Corporate HR, Audit team, Corporate Legal team, Finance team, Employee Services Team (EST), Talent Acquisition team, Cadre &amp; Capability Building Team, OE &amp; CI Team, IT Team, Corporate Affairs, Corporate Communication, CSR Team, NA/LATAM Legal Team, etc. - External - External Partners, Statutory &amp; Legal Vendors, IT Vendors, Union Leaders, Local Community leaders, Government agencies including Embassy of India in Mexico, Secretary of Security, HR forums, Indian Mexico Business Forum, etc. - Educational Qualifications : Preferably an MBA in HR or Master of Social Work (MSW) from premier B-School with good academic credentials. - Experience Required : 15-18 years of work experience (Preferably as HR in manufacturing area) Technical requirement : - Knowledge of organization design, recruitment, employee engagement processes, Comp &amp; Ben, Performance Management, Productivity Norms, Mentoring, International Labor laws(specific to Mexico), relevant statutory laws &amp; rules, HR systems, manpower planning and budgeting, etc. - Should possess high skills to engage with the union and experience working with them. Past experience in factory HR &amp; Knowledge of Spanish Language will be an added advantage.
