Lead-GL Controlling (CA)

Job Purpose:

Accountable for Accounts Payable & Cash Flow Management, Costing for budgets and business.

Key Accountabilities:

- Accounts Payable, Monthly closing & Cash Flow Management

- Inventory Management

Business Partnering:

- Working with Business team for bid evaluation, new awards, new customer evaluation etc.

- Review of CMO deals, preparing and evaluating business case, sharing recommendation, and ensuring proper accounting of deal expenses.

- Working with Global Insurance team on renewal of all polices and ensuring all risk related to business are covered. Issuing Certificate of insurance in coordination with Insurance broker.

- Working with NY Plant for MRP related activity in SAP.

COGS Management:

- Ensure single source of costing data is provided to business for taking business decisions and Management P&L.

Product returns process:

- Working closely with UPS team on processing and approving returns claim filed by customer for damaged in transit, lost in transit, short shipment, concealed damages of inventory etc.

- Coordinating on Issue tracker with UPS and SCM team.

- Filing damages claim with Insurance companies and taking the claims to closure.

- Co-ordinating with home office, UPS and customers for closure of Return claim.

SAP related activities:

- Ensuring Smooth functioning of SAP process for AP, CMO deals, Automatic payment process in SAP.

- Updating info record for intercompany transactions.

- Updating payment terms in vendor master.

- Maintaining Inco-terms for new vendors

- Fixing material group for service related PO.

- Removing costing blocks, Costing run, update overhead group, updating costing lot sizes
