We have an opportunity for Fraud Analytics Lead with one of our client based at Bangalore. The Fraud Prevention team supports the UK business to identify and mitigate fraud risk Primary objective of the team is to identify fraud patterns emerging both in the online business and the stores and take appropriate action. Role purpose : The role involves keen understanding of the Company's overall business an in-depth along with the knowledge of the fraud prevention domain in order to stop or mitigate fraud. Experience with handling CNP fraud, POS fraud. Key Responsibilities : - The Lead will be responsible for delivering own projects while also assisting a team of analysts/senior analysts. - Directly work with UK stakeholders to discuss projects, business problems, solutions/methodologies, workplan allocation etc. - Complete and deliver own projects - mostly long term and high impact projects and ensure projects are delivered on time. - Formulate questions which help in improvement of team and business KPI's and lead the data analysts to find answers to these questions. - Lead data driven business projects aiming to improve the performance of our business initiatives. - Work with multiple data sources both internal and external and leverage it to arrive at strong insights and recommendations. - Working with fraud prevention tools like Accertify, Datacash and Appriss to keep a check on the fraud rules and add/remove/tweak if necessary. - Build visualisations using tools like Tableau or Microstrategy. - To conduct weekly team meetings and ensure knowledge of the team is updated. - Maintain a good rapport with the team and stakeholders. - Look at continuous improvement and ways to improve process, projects and team's efficiency. - To motivate team members to perform the extra mile. Key interactions : Finance teams, Operations teams, Teams in Customer Engagement Centre and Safety, Security and Resilience team Internal : Finance, Operations, Marketing External : Vendors Educational Qualifications/Skills : - A Bachelor- s/Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Business or Quantitative Discipline - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Good SQL/Hadoop/Tableau/MS office experience - Project management skills - Past experience in retail analytics, fraud analytics, Forecasting - Working with fraud prevention tools like Accertify and Datacash - 6 years of experience in Business Analytics and 3 years in Fraud analytics Desired : - SAS/R-studio/Python - Past experience with UK stakeholders
