Position Purpose & Summary:
- Deliver product safety and quality - Right First Time, Drive Business Partnership, and drive Quality culture in through out the operation. The position purpose is to provide operational FSQR leadership for the cluster or country in sub-region.
The role is responsible for:
- The release of safe, consistent quality (meeting customer specifications) and regulatory compliant products
- Drive right first time every time through effective and standardized (to best practice) risk management and implementation of Food Safety Quality Regulatory standards and procedures (including quality assurance, lab - and regulatory compliance management); and
- Identifying opportunities for improvement (with focus on in-process controls) and collaborate with to execute it.
- Central to this aim will be being at the forefront of building a high-performance Zero Harm quality culture, including setting and meeting clear and decisive goals aligned to business strategies.
- Success will require a keen focus on:
- Creating value for customers and business;
- Supporting business growth - Embedding Quality in to the project framework, validation of new product lines/plants .
- Innovation/new product formulations.
- The ideal leader will possess a well-honed ability to build trust and respect with stakeholders across cluster (country) and with regional colleagues. To achieve this, you will have demonstrated strong influencing and change management skills in creating alignment on strategy and processes, as well as being a compelling communicator.
- Extensive experience in leading diverse site teams will be necessary to thrive and create an engaging team environment. This experience combined with coaching, team building and a keen focus on talent development and retention is vital.
