Role : - You will be owning the Food Innovation and NPD (New Product Development) function for Mosaic Wellness. As the lead for food innovation, you will be responsible for bringing innovative new packaged food products with nutraceutical fortification from a wellness perspective. - You will drive the thinking on how daily consumption food items can be fortified with nutraceutical ingredients to solve for wellness concerns, while still being tasty and providing a shelf life that a packaged product would require. - You will work with high quality third party manufacturers and third party labs, will be collaborating very closely with all stakeholders across the organization, hustling across timelines and delivering high quality and efficacious solutions from quality vendors. Responsibilities : - Drive the thinking on innovative food products for the brand - what products to go after, what to fortify them with nutraceuticals and actives, how to achieve a high quality product - Work with the business teams to identify solutions for various conditions - Build relationships with third party manufacturers in the foods space - Develop solutions with third party manufacturers and independent research labs - Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with manufacturers - Work with manufacturers to deliver a quality product in a timely manner Requirements : - Overall 3-7 years work-ex - Experience in foods innovation / packaged food development space - Ability to establish trusted partnerships with stakeholders - Knowledge of nutraceutical products is an added plus but not a necessity - Willingness and drive to work in a high-adrenaline unstructured environment - Hunger and drive!
