Lead financial reporting - TVS Motor Company Limited

- The Company is looking out for a candidate with experience in corporate consolidation for their Company, the job location is Hosur, however the candidate can travel from Bangalore to Hosur for work. The captioned designation will be reporting to the GM Finance and Accounts.

- To manage a team of 4 to 5 people with 5 to 7 years experience in Financial reporting preparation and compliance.

- Financial reporting : Preparing financial statements and reports and ensuring they comply with local accounting standards (about 21 subsidiaries and 17 associates, majorily overseas entities). Currently consolidation is done manually but the person has to take lead and implement Consolidation tools within the year.

- Responsible to handle Financial controller to review accounts, capitalisation, insurance and Internal financial control (Team 4 - 5 people). With good data analytical skills to analyze data from balance sheets, P&L statements, ledgers, accounts, and more including preparation of reconciliations and ensuring general ledger account balances and trial balances are reconciled. Schedule reviews with key stakeholder of other sections.

- Managing the R2R process, including ensuring processes are aligned and compliant and liaising with clients and stakeholders to gather data and supporting documents.

- Service level agreements: Ensuring service level agreements are met with service providers for Asset verification, asset utilisation, monitoring Capital work in progress and capitalisation, review of utilisation of assets tangible and intangible, review and provisioning for impairment if any, availament benefits of subidies.

- Implementing IFC frame work and Reviewing financial statements for errors, omissions, or inconsistencies

- Active intiation to move to Global competency centre for taking R&R of group entities.

- Automation - Digitisation projects initiator and lead.

- People development - Succession planning and enhancing competencies of existing team.

- Process control - Preparation , review, revise and update SOPs for all processes
