Position - Financial Planning and Analysis Lead

Location - Mumbai

Qualification - CA or MBA Finance

POSITION PURPOSE :

- Ensure smooth planning & reporting and roll out of various initiatives related to business & controlling ( Financial & Management Reporting).

- Responsible for Financial Planning (Budgeting, Estimation, Outlook, JOP, etc) including process of setting-up

- Support Strongly Engage in driving Cross Functional activities for listed legal entity such as Transfer Pricing, Tax forecasting, Sales Incentives provisioning, Corporate financial planning, Co-ordination with Regional Performance Management.

- Maintain updated system/Sap/DataOne structure and provide guidance on specific topics to other functions e.g., OPEX, Cross Charges and other strategic initiatives.

- Strongly engage in developing commercial finance team and pipeline from point of view of future readiness

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Lead the Budgeting & Forecasting activities of the Cluster for Sales, Profitability, Opex and WoC across all planning & forecasting cycles and closely engage & collaborate with APAC Leadership Team.

- Ensure accurate Monthly Reporting of Financial Performance Results along with full details of Business Drivers along with deviation analysis over previous periods and over Budgets & Forecasts.

- Ensure thorough analysis of the actual performance of Cluster, covering the full P&L, drivers such as Price, Volume, mix etc, Opex, Capex, WoC, FOCF, Sell In / Outs, POGs, Channel Position.

- Responsible for Financial update on actual business performance

- Drive Value pricing topics to support global pricing strategy

- Lead the Mid Quarter and Month End and Quarter End estimation process to support the steering of Cluster performance.

- Support in developing strategy on other Performance Management Topics such as OPEX Optimization, Synergy updates etc

- Strongly engage and develop FP&R team through employee voice surveys, development dialogues, Job Rotation & multiskilling opportunities, promote digitalization & automations in financial reporting processes and participate with commercial organisation in achieving transformation objectives.

- Lead the Process of setting up Commercial Unit / Departmental Budgets for Sales, Profitability and Opex and ensuring seamless monthly reporting of the same against Internal aspirational budgets.

- Participate and strongly engage in providing actuals and estimates for listed Legal Entity financial steering, Advance tax and transfer pricing purposes.

- Support HR in executing the Commercial Sales & Liquidation based Incentive payouts

- Ensure standardized / integrated controlling & FPR processes and practices

- Ensure business health through proper communication / flow of information to the Country Head / Finance BP for decision-making / on financial measures.

- Ensure active and reliable steering of listed legal entity budgets & actuals.

- Ensure implementation of and adherence to global Controlling strategy and directives

- Implementation and operation of global and local systems, tools and processes as well as alignment of global guidance with local business requirements

- Maintain value flows and business structure in the systems to support accuracy in analysis and reporting

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE :

- Professional Degree (CA or MBA) and 12-15 years of post-qualification experience - CA or MBA Finance is mandatory

- At least 5+ years of financial planning, reporting & Business partnering experience with Income statement responsibility

- Exceptional in Conceptual understanding, Foresightedness, Communication, Collaboration, Interpersonal skills and Analytical mindset.

- Strong in managing Complex Data, presentation skills, Courage, Stakeholder Engagement and Team Building

- Should show high levels of people and learning agility to work effectively in a changing environment.

- High level of integrity.

- Knowledge and Experience in Accounting, Controlling and Finance

- Proficient in Business Processes relating to Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing.

- Proven track record of providing digital solutions & IT proficiency. Should bring in a Digital mindset.

- Practical Knowledge and experience related to Compliance & Risk Management would be an added advantage
