RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reconcile and validate financial transactions for accuracy.
- Maintain detailed documentation of financial records and substantiation efforts.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in GL accounts.
- Generate financial reports and support data for audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial issues.
- Assist in improving accounting processes and internal controls.
- Stay informed about accounting regulations and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
- Offer recommendations for process optimization.
- Utilize financial software and tools for reconciliation tasks.
- Have a good control over the internal office accounts, reconciliation, and analysis of outstanding entries with ageing and provision requirements if any.
- Ensure ownership is established for each of the GL accounts and timely reconciliations are submitted by the respective owners.
- Will be responsible for critical review /challenge process for each of the reconciliation statements to ensure correctness, accuracy as well as timeliness of review.
