Lead - Finance - Shared Services Domain - FMCG/Manufacturing - CA (7-10 yrs)
One of our clients, a Leading FMCG company is looking out for an India Lead for the Finance Shared Services Unit to be based at Baramati near Pune.
PURPOSE:
To lead and expand the Financial Shared Services Center in India in order to absorb the activities of any newly acquired entities, ensure standardization of transactional financial processes in the Company, and generate efficiency gains derived from consolidating financial activities under one leadership. The person should have experience in setting up the Finance - Shared Services Unit in his earlier role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Lead the Finance Shared Services Center supporting the business in Asia and drive development of a culture that thrives on continuous improvement. Improve the professional competence of the members of the team through use of the assessment processes and through the ongoing development of their knowledge and skills.
- Perform financial transactions in a consistent manner across the globe in order to maximize efficiency, minimize cost, reduce working capital, and deliver superior service to the business. Continuously improve efficiency of the Unit through economies of scale, synergies, and cross-functionality.
- Keep abreast of all relevant local financial and statutory regulations impacting Accounts Payable, Banking and Cash management, and ensure Company compliance with those regulations.
- Provide guidance and oversight to the GST and TDS tax functions. Establish systems, processes and procedures to collect and record data required for internal and external financial reporting.
- Maintain a strong system of internal controls which will ensure the safeguarding of assets, compliance with regulatory agency requirements, and the integrity and objectivity of financial reporting, in alignment with the policies of the internal control team.
- Measure and communicate performance of the Unit
QUALIFICATION :
- Chartered Accountant (CA) is a must
EXPERIENCE : 7-10 years
- Financial supervisory/leadership (5-8 years)
- Shared Services Leadership is a must (at least 2 years)
- Worked in a multi-national manufacturing organization, Systems and process expertise
- Candidate should have sound knowledge and hands-on experience in Oracle
