Finance Lead (Leading International NGO)

- We are currently retained by an international non-governmental and non-profit organisation hire a Finance Lead for them.

- The role would be to work closely with the CFO and play the part of a key member in the finance team. This would include leading and supporting budgeting, taxation, finalisation of accounts, conducting audits. of statutory and internal audits

- The role is based in Delhi but needs someone who is willing to travel for work.

- Please note prior experience of working with an international NGO is preferred.

The primary responsibilities would include:

1. Leading and supporting budgeting including Budget analysis and formulation, budgetary controls for the organisation.

2. Coordination and preparation of Final Accounts and book closure.

3. Timely collection and submission of accounting returns from different divisions

4. Managing and coaching the team on accounting system

5. Providing oversight of taxation

6. Handling of ERP wrt accurate accounting

To fit the bill, you must:

1. Be a qualified Chartered Accountant.

2. Have 15+ years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting for reputed, well-managed companies and/or not-for-profits

3. Prior experience of managing and overseeing budgeting, taxation, finalization of accounts, coordination of statutory and internal audit, and computerization of accounts.

4. Excellent communication in English and Hindi with demonstrated skills in writing, presentation and people management.

5. Willingness to travel for work.
