Role : Manager Business Accounting (Dealer Finance and Leasing)

Designation, Band & Level : - Manager/Senior Manager

Function: Finance, Treasury & Accounting

Department: Accounting & Control Business Accounting (Dealer Finance and Leasing)

- Responsibility for accounting/ recording all INF loans related transactions including income, asset, liability, payments, including the coordination across other departments

- Ensuring financial and other controls for INF accounting.

- Responsible for periodic book closure on the INF lending side, Coordination with S&M, Risk for smooth flow of details needed to book closure

- Identifying the areas of issues and potential issues in accounting and communication of same within departments or other departments including handling the conflicts

- Responsible for ensuring smooth internal and external audits including resolving the queries

- Interpretation of new accounting requirements, further helping from overall accounting and compliance, further responsible for ensuring smooth transition in Dealer and leasing business

Leasing:

- Responsible for accounting of leasing portfolio

- Ensuring smooth book closure, identifying and communicating the issues

- Stabilizing the SOPs in the leasing business

Expected Credit Loss computation (ECL Model)

- Responsible for running the ECL model for the company based on provisions as per Ind AS 109 Financial Instruments

- Good grip on ECL model and conceptual clarity on ECL model

- Responsible for record the ECL provision entries by monthly/ quarterly and annual

MIS

- Responsible for analysis and preparation of monthly report to management relating to performance of INF Business

- Responsible for provision of information for parent reporting (monthly/ quarterly and annual)

Reporting & Compliance

- Responsible for preparing and submission of various reports/returns required under RBI regulations for NBFC (quarterly returns information NPA etc.)

- Responsible for preparation of all the reports to TFSC/ APR (group reporting) periodically including month end

- Responsible for interpretation and implementation of RBI regulations

- Handling the RBI inspection team including sharing the data and resolving the queries

Systems

- Front ending from the Accounting and Control team to support implementation of leasing system (requirement gathering)

- Getting the System issues sorted out by coordinating with IT and vendor from an accounting, controlling and audit preview

Projects/ New business transactions/ Process improvements

- Helping TFSIN launching new products by representing Accounting team for accounting requirements, by coordination with Projects Team and other departments, being responsible for entire project, including financial controls as built in system

- Designing the accounting of complex business transactions and ensuring the FTA other team members preparedness on this

- Understanding the existing processes and continuously looking for opportunities to improve the process including the automation

Statutory and Internal Audits

- Responsible for coordination with auditors and getting the overall audit completed, sharing necessary information to complete the audit, ensuring smooth resolution of queries, identifying the potential areas of Audit issues

Education:

Chartered Accountant

Experience:

- CA with 5 years experience in Mid- Large Corporate Finance function of NBFC/Big4s

Skills and Competencies:

- Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

- Good understanding of accounting and taxation requirements

- Confident to table issues before management with respect to Accounting/ Business and other issues
