Job description :
Experience:
- 10+ years of Software Engineering / IT Applications development delivery experience preferably with start-ups, software product-based organizations, fast paced organizations
- Knowledge of Life Sciences industry preferred
- Leading a team of geographically dispersed software engineering resources to deliver SAAS products on time and within budget
- Continuously improving the technical delivery methodology (agile/scrum based), strategy, implementing, and managing delivery with the teams
- Understanding the product pipeline of demand and plan the resourcing requirements
- Oversee daily activities of engineering team and provide architectural/design direction and guidance as needed
- Ensure that team maintains high level of competence and operational excellence
- Knowledge/understanding of Product development and operations life cycle processes such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management processes
- Recommends and/or initiates the selection and hiring of resources
- Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions with leaders
- Make critical business decisions to meet expectations
Skills:
- Hands-on experience in technical leadership role, product engineering, and customer facing role
- Strong service delivery and relationship management skills
- Should have strong technology background in Microsoft Cloud Stack (Azure, SharePoint, Power Platform, Dynamics etc)
- Knowledge of Low code/No code programming platforms, Automated Testing tools, CI/CD, Azure DevOps.
- Experience in driving the results from service provider resources
- Previous software engineering, IT projects delivery, service management experience
- Mature and self-motivated professional able to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Adherence to IT policies and processes to ensure consistent quality of service
- Capacity to lead by example and develop strong personnel performance goals
- Ability to drive process improvement to continually improve service and reduce costs
