Lead - Employee Relations/Center Of Expertise - Chemical/Manufacturing Firm (10-15 yrs)

Lead Employee Relations-COE

- The Lead of the Group Centre of Expertise of Employee Relations responsible for supporting and co-ordinating all aspects of employee relations with GCOE-ER.

- The role is responsible for progressive culture in the Businesses by promoting interventions that create positive working relationships between employees and management, fostering a healthy and inclusive work environment, and ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.

- The Lead-Group COE of Employee Relations collaborates with ER business partners, legal teams, and other key stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies and programs that address employee relations matters across the organization.

Capability Building for ER professionals & Line Managers: Develop & Deploy customized learning interventions in consultation with Group & Business ER-CoE's:

a) Actively contribute towards enhancing functional knowledge on ER in handling, both Legal & ER matters through workshops.

b) Co-ordinate in Identification of areas of capability building in consultation with CoE's.

c) Support in Identifying & Engaging SMEs for capability-building interventions. Create a repository of SME's.

d) Work with Business COE's on inputs in content development for capability-building interventions in identified themes.

e) Facilitate the conduct of programs.

f) Maintain a database of programs conducted & track their effectiveness.

Digitization & Data Management :

a) Collate critical data from businesses that shall enable decision making on critical matters- Capability Building, LTS, Legal Matters, Digitization etc,.

b) Co-ordinate with Businesses in ensuring that the workmen data is populated regularly in Poornata or any platform

c) Support & drive interventions that will enhance the process of Digitization in workmen life cycle processes

d) Analyze employee relations data and trends to identify potential areas of concern and areas for improvement. Prepare and present reports to senior management with actionable recommendations

Group ER Guidelines / POVs /SOPs:

a) Co-ordinate & Support Businesses on the interpretation & implementation of existing Group ER Guidelines / PoV's / SoP's.

b) Support in collating information & data thru research on various developments in Legal Jurisprudence with specific reference to Labour Laws and share the updates with the ER community.

Compliance and Risk Management: Review Compliances, Litigations, Government & Legal liaison activities:

a) Ensure compliance with local, state, and labor laws and regulations, as well as company policies. Mitigate potential risks related to employee relations matters and implement appropriate corrective actions in consultation with Businesses.

b) Partner with business on high impact Labour Litigation.

b) Provide support with help of Central Legal Cell on varied critical issues based on need.
