Lead - Electrical & Electronics - Advanced Engineering - Automotive

Responsibilities:

- Lead cross functional team to deliver proof of concept (POC) projects by developing New hardware & software at vehicle level

- Creating Time plan and tracking projects as per time plan

- Create and maintain technology roadmap in Electrical & Electronics Area.

- Defining E&E architecture for all products

- Provide subject matter expertise and collaborate with product teams to resolve product currents issues

- Contribute to the development of control software algorithms and service tools

- Contribute and deliver hardware development like Electronic controller, sensors, Lights, Wiring Harness etc

- Coordinate and conduct design verification testing at component and vehicle/application level with a focus on serviceability/reliability

- Develop and document procedures to improve system efficiency

- System integration experience, defining interfaces, requirements, specifications at Machine and component level

- Lead technical outreach and interactions with outside suppliers for development of hardware and software

- Conduct and coordinate failure analysis with internal group and vendor.

- Teardown and benchmark of E&E systems used in competition and prepare reports

Required Skills :

- Extensive experience in vehicle Electrical & Electronics of off Highway machines/ Automotive vehicles

- Experience in CAN network on machine/vehicle level

- Innovative thinking for proof of concept projects

- Knowledgeable of Algorithm development.

- Knowledge of vehicle schematic and wiring harness

- Direct experience in E&E parts- working, development & Testing

- With the purchasing team, identify viable suppliers, evaluate supplier capabilities, and assess technical performance.

- Regulatory compliance and testing (SAE, IEC, FMVSS, EMI, EMC etc) experience

- Experience with electrical and environmental standards used for component level testing

- Expertise in working in a high voltage and high current environment is a plus

Qualifications needed :

- Masters/ BTech in Electrical, Electrical & 15+ Years of hands on experience in working on E&E part of Machine and components

- Domain experience in Automotive/Off Highway Area.
