Lead - Digital Capability Building - Manufacturing (8-12 yrs)

Technical Competencies

- Must have prior experience in designing and delivering large scale capability development initiatives

- Knowledge of training methods, competency development methods, large scale training program curation and execution

- Ability to manage training programs and measure the progress regularly as established

- Measure the outcome in an objective manner

Key Result Areas / Accountabilities:

1. Strategy formulation and implementation

- Identify the high priority areas for business as well as functions to explore opportunities of digital enablement of processes/systems.

- Scan the market for new/upcoming digital trends in order to contextualize and imbibe digital initiatives as per business priorities

- Develop the digital roadmap along with the CDO by drilling down high priority areas for Hindalco

- Liaise with industry associations such as NASSCOM, CII, Startup incubation centers as well as established large partners and startups to explore opportunities pertaining to the digital domain

2. Digital Enablement

- Ensure the implementation as per the defined performance, timeline and budgetary parameters

- Provide guidance to the functional and on ground teams for execution and adoption of the new age Digital technologies and systems

- Working across various functions to identify key challenges and opportunities to address them through digital solutions

- Creation of a Proof of Concept (POC) or pilot to demonstrate to businesses / operations teams / customers what the potential impact could be

- Setting up systems to enable real time tracking, information extraction and analysis of quality parameters in order to ensure standardization across quality delivery

- Monitor the execution of the different digital projects to ensure adherence to defined scope, provide technical guidance and undertake corrective action in case of deviations

- Create direct impact on key business challenges by adoption of digital technologies esp in the areas of Productivity, quality, uptime, cost optimization and profitability

- Plan the training calendar and roll it out with HTU

3. Digital Literacy and Adoption

- Create opportunities for the team and other relevant stakeholders to enhance their understanding of the digital ecosystem

- Facilitate and conduct employee forums for discussions related to new age digital technology and methods to improve existing processes

4. Vendor Management

- Scan the market and the start-up ecosystem to identify the latest E-LEARNING and Virtual/class room ways of inducting knowledge

- Liaise with vendors and service providers to effectively do the competency building

- Coordinate with the commercial team to undertake commercial evaluation of partners

5. People development and engagement

- Building specific digital skill sets amongst team members for better insight generation, problem solving and execution.
