Lead - Demand & Supply Planning - FMCG

- Responsible for convergence between various stakeholders across company including marketing, sales and operations to ensure product availability.

- Converting the demand plan as obtained from Brands into a valid production schedule suiting business requirements.

- Interfaces between the Brand Entrepreneur and manufacturing unit for the creation of a production plan

- Long term capacity planning based on business needs and requirements with effective utilization of vendor and manufacturing units

- Optimum capacity utilization across industrial stakeholders including technology and factory operations team

- Network planning for alignment of 0 to 1 and 1 to 100 phase

- Monitoring of production delivery by ensuring timely vendor fill rate at the distribution centers

- Ensuring optimum inventory levels are maintained across Distribution Centers and stores

- Manages Warehousing & distribution to ensure availability of products to fulfil demand in a timely manner by coordinating with their zonal managers

- Is an effective people manager, leader and communicator: successfully manages and develops people according to the needs of the specific Unit

- Manages resource allocation and capacity adequately to ensure timelines and key milestones are met.

- Ensures good collaboration, communication and problem solving in the team and across organizational boundaries.

- Process Orientation, should be very strong in implementation of systems and processes.

- Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment and to react with discretion under varying conditions

- Good Communication Skills- Both written and Verbal

- Good Negotiation Skills to drive the solution

- Excellent Interpersonal Skills with an ability to partner with dynamic cross functional teams

- Should be familiar with ERP systems such as SAP.

- Technically proficient with MS Office, Excel, Word.
