Lead - Demand Planning (Domestic Home Textile Business)

Position: Lead : Demand Planning (Domestic Home Textile Business)

Position reports to : SCM Head

Work Location: Mumbai (Lower Parel)

Relevant Experience: 6-7 years in Demand Planning

Roles and Responsibilities :

1) Demand Planning:

- Generate statistical forecast using demand planning tool for rolling 12 months.

- Collaborate with multiple function stakeholders in Demand Review meetings to derive consensus demand plan.

- Monitor sales at various depths of granularity (product/customer/frequency) and tracking forecast accuracy and bias in the forecast.

- S&OP - Data collation for S&OP, actively drive multi-stage S&OP process and integrate with Demand planning process.

- Coordinate demand of new products, product changeovers and consumer promotions in line with Marketing plans so as to ensure meeting Volume, Value and Profitability targets of the Company.

- Maintain planning tools integrity and ensure that planning tools deliver the value in the integrated planning process with continual improvement.

- Handling multiple SKUs (more than 1000 SKUs)

2) Supply Planning and Inventory Optimization:

- Derive Production Net Requirement for Production Planning Process in co-ordination with Category and Plant teams.

- Analyse Warehouse inventory levels and monitor stock ageing and month of supply.

Inventory Planning:

- Coordinate and communicate with different stakeholders in supply chain to ensure compliance to supply plans and meeting the Supply Chain objectives.

Additional Information:

- Strong hands-on experience in MS Excel and creating KPI driven SC reporting and analytics in MS-Excel or Power BI

- Knowledge of Statistical Mathematics

- Tech Savvy and proactive

- Strong analytical, problem solving, collaborative and influencing skills

- Experience in working with a forecasting software system SAP APO, JDA, PlanVisage or equivalent, Kinexism, Blueyonder

- Primary Stakeholders - Sales Channels, Category/PD, Finance, Logistics, Marketing

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/PG degree in Business, Math, Engineering, Supply chain required or equivalent industry experience

- 6-7 years of demonstrated experience in demand planning.

- Require someone who has core Demand Planning Experience along with a good pedigree in education (Preferably from NITIE, NMIMS, Symbiosis, and Welingkar)
