Lead - Data Scientist - IT

Job Position :

Peopzpro supports our client's business across front, middle and back office functions by combining technology, operations, and analytics services.

The role requires a senior leader to grow existing and acquire new accounts across verticals, leveraging differentiated offerings combining process, statistics, data science and technology for predictive analytics initiatives.

Specific Responsibilities:

- Establishing and implementing Actionable Business Outcomes (ABOs) for predictive and prescriptive analytics use cases.

- Working closely with the Practice and delivery organizations to foster a client centric culture and cohesive teaming environment

- Working closely with Analytics practice in identifying & establishing specific solutions.

Desired Skills and Experience

- Languages/Tools: Python/R

- Approaches: Machine Learning

- Concepts: Supervised - ANN, Bayesian, Gaussian, Vector Quantization, Logistic Model, Minimum Message Length, SVM, Random Forest, Ensembles, ANOVA, Decision Trees, Hidden Markov Models Unsupervised - ANN, ARL, Clustering - Hierarchical, Cluster Analysis

Reinforcement

- Big Data (Good to have): Hadoop /Kafka / Storm / Spark streaming

- OS: Linux, Windows 32/64 bits.

- Experience of handling high frequency streaming data for real time analysis and reporting.

- Familiarity with - Natural Language Processing, Statistical Analysis (distribution analysis, correlation, variance

- Experience with open source technologies is a must.

Expected Qualifications and Past Experiences:

- Experience in relevant field such as Statistics, Computer Science or Applied Math or Operational Research.

- Must have Masters in (Maths/Statistics or Applied Mathematics/Machine Learning etc.)

- History of successfully performing customer implementations

- Strong customer facing skills, and previous consulting experience

- At least 6+ years experience in a related role

Note: we would be looking for 3 to 6 years experience person who has done masters from IGIDR or ISI. For rest of the candidates experience should be more than six years in Data Science
