Key / Primary Responsibilities of the Role - List the primary deliverables: - Understanding business objectives and developing models that help to achieve them, along with metrics to track their progress - Managing available resources so that project deadlines are met - Analysing the ML algorithms that could be used to solve a business problem and ranking them by their success probability - Building Models and deploying them - Exploring and visualizing data to gain an understanding of it, then identifying differences in data distribution that could affect performance when deploying the model in the real world - Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods - Defining validation strategies - Training models and tuning their hyper parameters - Analysing the errors of the model and designing strategies to overcome them - Strong Team Management skills & stakeholder Management Key Success Metrics : Development of Machine Learning algorithms to solve real life business problems Minimum Number of Years: 8 + years of experience in Machine Learning Functional Area: The desired candidate must have : - Proven experience in Machine Learning or similar role - Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture - Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms - Ability to write robust code in Python, Scala and R - Familiarity in SPARK or any other distributed environment will be preferred - Excellent communication skills - Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
