Data Science lead would build and lead a team of Data Scientists within TD in service of developing and delivering Data Science capabilities/projects for TCP and/or Brand. In this pursuit, he/she would work closely with TD's internal product and tech teams and with brand partners. He/she needs to develop a deep understanding of the various processes and operations across various businesses retail, hospitality, media & entertainment, etc and apply the same while developing Data Science solutions. This position will be the focal point for communicating project progress with TD leadership, and brand partners, managing resource assignment against changing priorities and ensuring the quality and timeliness of project deliverables

Responsible for delivery of Data Science projects for TCP and/or partner brands

- Build and incubate TD Data Science team supporting brand partners and/or TCP

- Work with 3rd party vendor(s) to a solution and develop Data Science capabilities. Bring those capabilities in-house over a period of time.

- Understand & decompose complex business problems into Data Science/Analytical problems

- Develop & deploy models/algorithms using Machine Learning, Statistics & Econometric models, Deep Learning, etc.

- Align work and set priorities appropriate to the development of all team members while ensuring business objectives/goals are met

- Lead, coach and monitor work performed by the team to ensure goals and objectives are met and team expectations are clear

- Communicate day-to-day decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate team members regarding projects and initiatives
