GAMIFi is hiring Data Governance Leads for one of the leading Internet companies based out of Bangalore. Position: Data Governance Lead Job Type: Permanent Experience: 8+ years Job Location: Bangalore / Pune Qualification: B.Tech / B.E What You Will Do - Create, promote, and maintain a proper collection of procedures, roles, policies, standards, and metrics related to data that guarantee the efficient and effective use of information to allow an organization to find data/ information faster and reliable, both for short and long term - Ensure data is accessible and inclusive to authorized users to promote a data-driven environment - Communicates cross-department within internal and external parties to ensure the data governance principles are implemented throughout the entire data lifecycle for the applicable internal and external requirements - Ensure the data model and architecture from the transactional pipeline are suitable for analytics - Ensure all data in both transactional and analytical pipelines have proper metadata management - Ensure all activities related to data are monitored, analyzed, and audited Qualifying Criteria: - At least 7 years of experience in data fields - Strong fundamentals in data security, data modeling, and data architecture - Proficiency in obtaining and analyzing data with SQL is a must - Familiarity with a cloud data warehouse service is a plus - Familiarity with the UNIX environment is a plus - Knowledge in programming and Python is a plus - Ability to analyze complex situations to derive workable actions is a must - Ability to constructively challenge requirements and the current state is a must Kindly Note: Candidates from Products or FinTech Firms or Internet/eCommerce firms are preferred to apply.
