We are looking for a Data engineer to work on financial data, across asset classes. The candidate is expected to Lead and Define scalable ETL processes, build repeatable quality assurance processes, and sign-off client deliverables including various analytical reports. We are seeking for Strong quantitative and technical skills, including knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and fluency in MS Office, Python, ETL tools/processes, and reporting/visualization tools.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR :

- Lead a team of 5+ professionals working across various mandates related to climate stress testing / valuation of securities for the team in India

- Lead and contribute to the delivery of analytics for recurring and ad-hoc client engagements

- Lead/Define scalable ETL processes, build repeatable quality assurance processes, and sign-off client deliverables including various analytical reports

- Strong quantitative and technical skills, including knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and fluency in MS Office, Python, ETL tools/processes, and reporting/visualization tools

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE :

- 5 - 10 years of professional experience in analysis of large data sets

- B.tech /B.Sc/ M.tech/ M.Sc in Computers, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics and another relevant degree from Tier 1 and 2 institutions preferred

- Expertise in python, ETL, SQL

- Ability to lead projects related to data-driven processes (like data onboarding, quality control, reporting etc.) utilizing a range of models/tools with a track record of outstanding achievements on data engineering, quality assurance, financial analysis, and reporting

- Ability to interpret performance metrics / model outputs on broad asset classes

- Strong experience BFSI and Financial Services domain

- Strong working knowledge of a range of data management and visualization tools (SQL; NoSQL; gag plot;),

- Strong quantitative and technical skills, including knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and fluency in MS Office Suite, ETL & related technologies

- Strong experience of working in stress testing/client operations teams (IFRS9, Balance Sheet Analytics, Climate risk, Corporate sectors etc.)
