Lead - Corporate Development/M&A - FoodTech (3-5 yrs)
An exciting food-tech unicorn is looking for M&A and Corporate Development professionals to lead the fundraising and inorganic growth charter in our next phase of growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage fundraising activities and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Market landscaping, target screening, networking to identify inorganic growth opportunities, lead build vs. buy decisions
- Prepare business cases, models, analyze key business drivers, and present M&A transactions to the senior management and board
- Manage financial, tax, legal, and commercial due diligence and documentation review activities - including overall project management and coordination with advisors to execute the transactions
- Support post-merger integration and proactively kick-off and supervise commercial initiatives with senior management and executive teams
- Support senior management in the development of the key business cases and reports in critical areas
Key skills required:
- 3-5 years of prior experience in Investment Banking, the transactional services arm of a Big 4 focusing on M&A advisory activities, Venture Capital, Private Equity, or Corporate Development in a large corporate
- Business Administration, Economics, Engineering degree (Master's degree from a tier-1 business or engineering school preferred)
- Highly motivated and self-driven; ability to make pragmatic decisions and work with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and multi-tasking capabilities
