Lead - Consumer Market Research - Food Startup (7-12 yrs)

We are currently retained by a leading Food Based Start-up to hire a Lead - Consumer Market Research. This role will be responsible for gathering & sharing insights that can be used to inform and support decision making to launch new segments in the Foods division. This role requires someone who has led the market research for categories like Spices, RTE, Staples..

Your responsibilities will include:

- Devising actionable strategies based on customer insights

- Bringing the consumer perspective to marketing decision making by executing market analysis and research activities to provide insights and recommendations

- Managing external agencies for the execution of research projects

- Identifying ideal methodology and providing oversight on the data collection process and analytic work plan to ensure all available information is generated to support business needs

- Leveraging research data and information to proactively identify business opportunities and gaining internal support to act upon these opportunities

- Conveying analysis and recommendations via presentations and written reports

To fit the bill, you must have:

- 7+ years of expertise in overall responsibility into consumer insights specifically for the foods division

- Worked in a leading consumer marketing research firm for Foods business

- MBA from a reputed B School.

- Experience devising actionable strategies from consumer insights for spice/RTE/RTC/RTS category

- Minimum 5+ years of experience Identifying ideal methodology and providing oversight on the data collection process and analytic work plan to ensure all available information is generated to support business needs

- Experience in managing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research

- Leveraging research data and information to proactively identify business opportunities and gaining internal support to act upon these opportunities

- Familiar with putting together data from multiple sources to tell a story.

- Strong understanding of strategic business requirement of the organization based on the organization growth focus and strategy

- Strong stakeholder management experience ability to deal with ambiguous requirements.
