Compensation Lead The Compensation Lead will play an integral role in supporting HR Partners on compensation related activities, as well as the development, implementation and administration of corporate and business specific compensation programs. This includes, but is not limited to, job evaluation, market research and analysis, base pay review and structure design, and short-term incentive plans. This position will also involve supporting various HR Compensation Services initiatives. - Has 7+ years directly related work experience preferably in Retail or similarly sized organization - Exceptional analytical, mathematical and problem solving skills, especially in situations with incomplete or missing information - Strong PC skills including a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access - Formulas, Links and Macro writing - Strong attention to detail with strong follow-through skills - Good verbal, written and analytical communication skills to enable work with all levels of the organization - Sound knowledge of Human Resource activities and procedures is preferred - Self-starter, highly organized and able to produce high quality work under pressure - Able to work in strict confidence - Act as primary point of contact and provide compensation expertise for HR Partners - Conduct market research, including submission and analysis of annual survey data, for corporate programs and assigned businesses - Manage job evaluation process - Review and design of variable pay programs - Ensure compliance with relevant employment standards, including pay equity and minimum wage rates - Manage and facilitate annual salary review and annual incentive plan processes for assigned businesses - Identify and recommend process improvements and efficiencies - Leading and participating in special projects as required Must haves: 1. Graduation/ Post graduation in Human Resources 2. Good knowledge of Google Suite (Mail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
