Job description :

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Marketing (60%)

- Ideate, design and execute effective and impactful communication elements to consumers across different touch points - online & off-line.

- Partner with Field Sales team to support sales operations (e.g., creating, executing and measuring promotions, optimizing sales operations costs etc.)

- Measure and analyze existing projects for opportunities to improve the customer experience and reduce costs. Optimize allocation of marketing development funds and execution of included projects

- Measure and improve offline experience and improve productivity of our retail assets, through ongoing retail audits

- Drive marketing programs and partner campaigns

- Work closely with online team to support them in their marketing initiatives, and ensure consistency in Consumer experience in online & offline channels

- Drive and pilot new marketing initiatives

- Monitor and benchmark competition.

Product Marketing (20%) :

From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, communications, legal, technology and more.

In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

- Coordinate various research activities to deeply understand small business needs, preferences, and problems. Consolidate insights and collaborate with internal and external teams to prioritize and influence product development.

- Define segment-based go-to-market strategies for new product pilots and launches. Monitor marketing execution and results to ensure small business products and value propositions are effectively communicated in the marketplace.

- Develop, test, and implement compelling and creative messaging for new products and solutions. Draft product positioning documents and work closely with our agencies, content team, and marketing channels to ensure new messaging concepts and product information are properly understood and communicated.

Digital Marketing (20%):

- Plan and execute all Web, SEO/SEM, Marketing Database, Mobile & E-mail, Social media and Digital Display advertising campaigns - Build Digital Brand Equity.

- Ensure that all campaigns are planned, tracked and operate towards specific business and growth objectives. Measure and optimize on performance - ROI, retention, engagement etc.

- Plan and manage the budget to achieve optimum CAC per acquisition.

- To devise, implement and run innovative campaigns in line with budgets

- Create and maintain metrics reports to showcase the health of the campaigns.

- Continuously implement new fraud detection and prevention mechanism to improve the user quality

- Manage strong business relationships within the digital ecosystem. Understand and manage dynamics to drive best practices in this function.

- Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies, including updates on attribution, programmatic media buying, social media acquisitions.

- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience - Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide Digital Thought Leadership and perspectives.

What We Are Looking For :

- Analytical ability to understand and transform data into decisions and powerful stories - Well suited to the startup environment - flexible, adaptive, self-motivated and fast learner

- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast paced environment.

- Entrepreneurial driven strategic thinking and ability to lead and drive critical business functions such as Brand, Marketing, Products, E -commerce is an essential requirement.

- Track and report on Performance KPIs across all acquisition channels to optimise ROI, including highlighting potential investment tradeoffs between all CPA-based activities (Paid Marketing, Partnerships/Co-marketing, Referrals, Promotions etc

- Should have relevant Exp. in Performance Marketing, Consumer Marketing, App Marketing, Digital Marketing, eCommerce

- Experience in driving fast user growth for a direct-to-consumer or large scale B2B SME online product/service.

- Understanding of the local digital and offline media landscape.

Preferred Experience :

- 8-10 years experience with 3-5 years of experience in channel marketing. MBA from top tier Institutions

- Proven hands-on expertise in running & scaling digital & offline marketing channels

- Presently working in a similar capacity with Internet/Banking/ Insurance/FMCG/Ecommerce industries

- Strong communication & presentation skills

- Experience of starting or working in a startup is a plus
