Role overview:-

As GoodWorker expands both in terms of quantity and breadth of jobs, we are specializing into job categories - with distinct strategy, business model and demand/ supply dynamics. A category senior manager / lead will set up the specific category LOB for GW. S/he has to work with sales, operations and product to prepare, test and scale category specific offerings in the market. This is a cross functional role that involves setting strategies, monitoring operations, and ensuring success of respective categories.-

What is expected out of this role in next 12 months:

Build the ITES vertical for Goodworker

Set up the playbook for end to end fulfilment to be done for the GW clients pertaining to ITES/BPO sector

Understand, streamline and optimize processes involved in end to end recruitment across the ITES/BPO clients

Support supply acquisition team for catering the demand from existing clientele

Improve the funnel (conversions) of the existing applications by running experiments

Explore multiple channels for supply acquisitions

Develop the ways to productize the existing manual processes to make them scalable


Identify and evaluate employers in respective category, finalise GW offering and help close with sales-

Provide expertise on the nuances for the Segment and modify as applicable the current business models

Create and manage category level supply channels for sourcing workers - both online and offline

Be accountable for jobs within the category and the fulfilment of the same

Identify category specific business models and run pilots for unlocking growth-

Be accountable for revenue targets for specific job category

Ensure adequate focus on category- by coordinating with sales and operations teams-

Work with product team to implement category specific features on app/ portal-

Somethings we look for;

MBA (Tier I) with 5-8 years of experience in either-

Category management (BPO and/or Ecomm segments) for staffing/ recruitment/ payrolling- firms-

Line experience of handling end to end recruitment in Ecomm and/or BPO segments-

Having good understanding of BPO and/or Ecomm market & Industry-

Experience in Growing the business and managing the P&L specific in BPO/ITES segments

Experience in reviewing the industry best practices and building for the category development

Understanding of the current sourcing processes involved in BPO/ITES sector and their nuances will be a plus
