Job Description (Lead analyst Business Intelligence):
The role requires high level analytic expertise to provide with data driven strategic solutions , including the development of complex reporting and analytical Business Intelligence (BI) solutions utilizing various tools such as SQL, Spotfire, Power BI, and Business Objects.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Collaborate with business partners to gain a full understanding of business needs, gather requirements, and suggest reporting solutions to support strategic initiatives
- Guiding reports migration through reverse engineering and analysis of existing reporting infrastructure
- Work among a team of developers to deliver integration/migration solution for all project stages (requirements definition, planning, functional design, prototyping, development, test, issue resolution, deployment, and support)
- Provide technical guidance to ensure appropriate intake, prioritization, and timely completion of all reporting and development tasks
- Align with program/project teams to provide solution architecture and design for BI COE projects
- Define new and refine existing solutions using industry best practices for data integration and data ingestion in the business intelligence reports
- Apply advanced project management and process improvement methodologies to assure uniformity, standardization, and repeatability of BI solutions
- Support ongoing analytical & reporting needs of business stakeholders
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- 2 years+ data visualization and dashboarding experience in Spotfire and Power BI
- Ability to think big, understand business strategy, provide consultative business analysis, and leverage technical skills to create insightful, effective BI solutions
- Demonstrated track record of reports migration and reverse engineering
- Highly organized, ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little to no guidance and tight deadlines
- Proficiency with SQL, SQL Server, BI tools- Tibco- Spotfire, Power BI/ Tableau
