Business & Technology Overview:

- We- re delivering a strategic Credit Risk technology platform which will improve risk management capability, data quality and operational efficiency.

- We will retire the legacy platform and provide a foundation for further - digitization- including automated decision engines from 2019 onwards.

- The technology we- re developing covers all core Credit Risk processes - including credit analysis, rating analysis, monitoring & portfolio management.

- While we deliver new Credit Risk Technology, we- re also maintaining existing Credit Risk systems.

Position Overview

Role Description:

- The role is for Credit Risk Lead Business Functional Analyst for the Portfolio Analysis, Appetite & Monitoring (PAAM) programme which is creating a single reporting and analytics platform - key focusses include:

Using Business Objects and SAS Visual Analytics technology to replace current manual reporting processes and tactical tools in place

Delivering and populating a new Credit Risk Data Vault - one consolidated store for all inbound data feeds and historical data

Providing automated standardized reports - including Legal Entity reporting - which will reduce manual effort currently spent on reporting

Developing advanced analytical capability (including - slide-and-dice- and - what-if- scenarios) which will significantly reducing manual effort and improve efficiency for Credit Risk colleagues

- This role reports into the Head of PAAM Group, London and is primarily responsible for Responsible for eliciting and managing functional requirements in partnership and collaboration with the business, architecture and delivery leads, working in an agile and iterative manner to build out appropriate solutions

- Ensures the creation and update of supporting documentation e.g. Business Requirements Documents, Functional Specification Document

- Liaises with programme / project managers, clients, and other stakeholders as appropriate as the business/functional counterpart for solution identification

- Works in a collaborative and agile manner to document user requirements and liaise with development teams to prioritise and deliver against these requirements

- Managing requirements using Agile methodology i.e. user stories and helping drive the agile process forward by participation in backlog grooming, sprint planning, QA, etc.

- Responsible for supporting the testing requirements together with the QA Team as well as the clients

- Supports the design and conceptualization of new business solution options and articulates identified impacts and risks

- Responsible for Quality Assurance of project deliverables and ensuring timely delivery against milestones for key artefacts e.g. FSD as well as overall management of product backlog

- Supports the Business Analysis Specialists/Managers on the prioritization of change requests

- Works with Business Analysis Specialists/Managers to ensure consistent implementation of processes

Experience Summary:

- Experience in Business Functional Analysis and Financial Services (related to or directly in Credit Risk Management)

- Minimum 15+ years of IT experience with in which at least 7-8 years worked as Business Analyst

- Minimum 8 years of experiences in financial services domain

- Good product knowledge in derivatives and securities financing, including understanding of main risk factors for these products

- Good knowledge of business analysis methods and tools (Agile, waterfall, Jira, Confluence, MS Office)

- Experience of Agile (scrum) methodology

- Experience in conceptualization and solution definition

- Good analytical and problem solving experience

- Good grasp of credit process in capital markets products.

- Broad knowledge and awareness of (related) business solutions in the marketplace

- Knowledge of Quality Management tools and techniques

- Ability to identify and interpret stakeholders needs and requirements

- Maturity and persuasiveness to engage in business dialogue and support stakeholders

- Ability to work in virtual teams and matrixed organizations

- Ability to manipulate and work with large volumes of data

- Ability to commit and prioritize work duties and tasks

- Ability to work in fast paced environment

- Ability to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members
