Lead Business Development - Land Acquisition Domain - Real Estate

ABC Consultants has been retained to hire a Lead Business Development (Land Acquisition) position, for a Real Estate client in Pune.

Key Requirement:

- Drive land acquisition strategy by identifying investment opportunities in land / project, conducting due diligence and evaluating the most optimum mode of acquisition to build land banks for growth of business

- Incumbent will have the responsibility of looking out for deals and creating the project pipeline to enable business growth. This needs to be done with deep understanding of the micro-markets within the region and ability to locate and strike deals with landowners.

- The role also needs understanding of the regulatory environment and should be understand the associated risks.

- Incumbent will work and collaborate with teams across F&A, Legal, Marketing, Strategy, etc.

- The role is also expected to build strong relations with the key channel partners to ensure that good deals.

- Create an internal buy-in for the deal & conduct further negotiation with the land owner to sign the term sheet

- Get the Management buy-in to the proposal and make changes accordingly

- Post initial negotiation by the deal runner, handle the next level of negotiation with the landowner involving the Management at appropriate stage

- Evaluate the various models of development with the land owner and get them to agree on the BE preferred development model
