RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work alongside the CEO to secure new clients
- Participate across the entire arc of the client-winning process including client identification, outreach, analytics, drafting presentation materials, and relationship building
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members
- Be the point person for clients (for any queries / concerns / next steps), many of whom are top level executives and require a trusted advisor
- Be the face of the firm within the ed-tech industry
- Analyze financial / economic data to create profitable strategies
- Prepare and present materials to prospective clients, including investment memoranda and technical specifications
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with a major in marketing (preferred but not required)
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in sales / business development with an established track record (preferably in EdTech/ Product industry)
- Experience of working with schools in India would be preferred
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong negotiation skillset
- Effective time management skills and an ability to move quickly and work efficiently while processing large amounts of critical information across multiple deadlines
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, quantitative, writing, and organizational skills with a proven ability to communicate ideas and solutions to decision makers (i.e. clients, top-level executives, school leaders, etc.); be a strong advocate
- Self-motivated professional able to lead an experienced and dynamic support team
- Keen to be part of an expanding platform
