Lead Business Development - Carbon Market
- Demonstrated capabilities in business development in the carbon space
- Experience in market development & product marketing in energy/environment sector
- Carbon origination & sales
- Deep understanding of the carbon market ecosystem including :
a. Carbon Markets - Carbon Neutrality - Carbon Credits - Carbon Trading. Carbon Foot printing
b. Carbon credit mapping and collaboration with potential stakeholders.
c. Creating network with the potential buyers having Carbon Offset Requirements
d. Managing Carbon Offsets Trading and Portfolio Management.
e. Deal origination and negotiation.
f. Policy advocacy across the ecosystem
g. Strong connect with buyers & sellers (domestic & international)
h. Connect with registries & carbon associations (domestic & international)
- Identification of potential buyers & sellers
- Increasing participation by registering new members and clients.
- Regular meetings with senior officials (MD, CE etc.) of participants & traders.
- Maintaining and fostering relationship with BEE/ MoEF/ MoP/ MNRE
- Organize workshops/meets with industrial associations/ thinktanks for development of market
- Organize workshops across India for educating participants about existing and new products also providing insights on creating new products as per market requirement.
- Represent company in conferences and workshops as speaker
- Policy Advocacy through meetings and conferences
- Prepare annual budget including volume projections and expenses
