Lead Business Analyst - Consulting Firm (4-10 yrs)

Purpose of the role :

This is a high impact role in Central Analytics team, and you will be responsible for generating insights and analyses using data around various demand and supply parameters such as customer profiling data, usage metrics, pricing, demand forecast, fraud alerting operations efficiency etc.

As a Lead Business Analyst, you will be managing a small team of 3-5 analysts and be responsible for end-to-end project execution across aspects such as solutioning, stakeholder management and quality. In this role, you will partner with leaders from Marketing, Sales, Operations & Strategy to identify problem areas and work with the data at hand to come up with a viable solution to the challenge. 


Some of the key problem statements that the analytics team works on are - increasing bike reliability and improving fleet health through data driven solutions; increasing customer retention and focusing on the right channel for our marketing spends; risk analytics and fraud prevention on our platform.

Additionally, analytics driven insights in the implementation stage and helping key stakeholders decide on the best action plan would be a part of the responsibilities. This role requires a keen sense of business acumen along with an ability to critically analyze unstructured problems through a data driven perspective.

List of requirements :

- Engineering graduate, with a B.E./B.Tech Degree from Tier 1 college

- 4+years of relevant work experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment

- Ability to work through unstructured problems and provide data driven actionable insights

- Proven analytical & quantitative skills; Ability to independently analyze and work on unstructured problems

- Proven ability to define effective, efficient, and scalable processes and drive continuous improvement through root cause identification and defect elimination

- Strong interpersonal skills and prior experience in leading small teams is highly desirable

- Experience on SQL, Python/R, Excel, VBA and PowerPoint would be highly desirable

List of Responsibilities :

- You will work as a partner to business unit heads and process owners to identify, develop and drive key analytics projects relevant to the business

- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement,and developing and implementing solutions

- Involved in identifying complex fuzzy problems, break it down in smaller parts and independently implement data-driven solutions

- Managing a small team of 3-5 analysts and own end-to-end project delivery

- Create and update internal and external documentation, and deliver requirements

- Work closely with internal functions to identify,define, collect, and track key business metrics for products or business process
