Essential Skills

- Working with business leads to identify, define, and clarify the scope / issues in terms of systems requirements.

- Capture & clarification of business requirements through a range of analysis techniques (data querying, data flow diagrams, gap analysis and work & process flow diagrams)

- Ability to run Iteration Planning Meeting to work with the delivery team to deliver requirements to production via small releases.

- Should act as a bridge between the UK/Ireland/Asia/Luxembourg business groups and India Delivery teams

- Identify options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability/feasibility

- Appreciation of Technology - ex Java, Angular, Node JS, Unit Testing and Regression Testing Patterns.

- Acting as a proxy product owner with the development teams, facilitating open communication between the customer & development team

- Driving user acceptance criteria with the customer

- Well aware of the AGILE terminologies and should have knowledge of AGILE tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.

- Stay abreast of key emerging products / industry standards in the Business Analysis arena

- Well aware of MS Office products like Word, Visio and Excel

Experience and Qualifications

- 7 to 9 years of relevant business analysis experience with a financial services firm. Experience of working in Fund Accounting space is preferable.

- Well versed with concepts around mutual funds, stock markets, securities - equity, fixed income and derivatives

- Knowledge of Messaging Standards like Swift, FPML,FIX, JSON is desirable

- Appreciation of Technology - ex Java, Angular, Node JS, Unit Testing and Regression Testing Patterns.

- Exposure to structured and agile/extreme software development life-cycle methodology (preferably Agile or Iterative development)

- Experience of working with multi-cultural teams in a geographically diverse environment
