Lead - B2B Collections

We are currently retained by a leading well-funded startup to hire a B2B Collections Lead for them.

This role requires a strategic leader who can devise and execute collection strategies in line with financial and regulatory goals, optimizing processes, and driving performance to ensure efficient dues recovery.

The role will mentor and lead the collections team, foster continuous improvement, and collaborate cross-departmentally to enhance the customer experience. Need a young and dynamic leader with a deep expertise in credit and collections management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and implement collection strategies that are compliant with legal requirements and financial objectives.

- Lead and motivate the collections team to surpass goals.

- Promote customer-centricity, innovation, and ongoing improvement.

- Design and monitor effective collections processes to enhance rates and minimize bad debt.

- Track performance, spot trends, and take remedial action using data analytics.

- Collaborate with Finance, Customer Success, Expansion, and Legal departments to streamline operations.

- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, tailoring collection strategies to their needs.

- To encourage prompt payments and lower delinquencies, implement educational initiatives.

- Set up and keep an eye on the collections team's KPIs.

- Present reports, highlighting important metrics and improvement strategies, and deliver them to senior management.

- Make strategic decisions and efforts by utilizing data-driven insights.

To fit the bill, you must have:

- 10+ years of experience in B2B collections processes.

- Prior exp of working with new age Startups.

- Handled a portfolio of 100 Cr+.

- Extensive cross-functional exp with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
